Summer Holidays - Aquatic Challenger Public Sessions

Are you looking for something fun to do in the Summer holidays?

You will never be short of things to do this summer because we have scheduled 34 public sessions for our new Aquatic Challengers at Lake Mac Swim Centres!

Kids can test out our all-new, fun-filled Aquatic Challengers at one of our challenger public sessions.

Featuring large grassed picnic spots and BBQs the pool is a perfect location for a family day out. On-site kiosks offer food and drinks to keep you refreshed, and a team of lifeguards and instructors are always present, ensuring a safe and entertaining haven for little ones.

No bookings are required. 

Cost:

• $6.10 per child

• $12.20 family rate (applies to dependent children under the age of 16 years for our pool floats).

• The Aquatic Challenger public session fee is in addition to the general entry fees (Child $4.10, Adult $6.60, Family $16.80, Spectator $3.10). 

Participant requirements: 

• The minimum age for children allowed on the Aquatic Challenger is 6 years old (no exceptions).

• The maximum age for children allowed on the Aquatic Challenger is 16 years old (no exceptions). 

• Additional restrictions apply at West Wallsend Swim Centre. Participants must be no taller than 160cm and aged between 6 and 12 years old (no exceptions).

• A swim test is required prior to participation on the Aquatic Challenger. The distance required to swim to pass the test is 15 metres unassisted. Under no circumstances can floatation aids be used. No assistance from other swimmers or stopping along the way is permitted during the swim test.

• No floatation aids are permitted on the Aquatic Challenger under any circumstances.

Session Cancellations:

Sessions may be cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions. Please check this webpage on the day you plan to attend for any announcements regarding cancellations. Alternatively, you can contact the swim centre via phone for the most current information.
