West Wallsend is an indoor heated swim centre with one 25-metre pool operating year-round. West Wallsend Swim Centre is located within the residential area of West Wallsend.
This pool has taught thousands of children learn to swim and is popular with aqua fitness, lappers and water walkers through-out the year.

IMPORTANT FACILITY INFORMATION - We are expanding West Wallsend Swim Centre to include a new learn-to-swim pool. The project will construct a new separate learn to swim pool that will complement existing aqua fitness, recreational and lap swimming in the existing 25 metre pool. The project will go out for tender in late 2024, and construction will take place in early to mid-2025. Every effort will be made to keep the existing pool open during construction, however there may be some short-term closures for specific activities, but these will be communicated in advance. Lake Mac Swim Centres deliver programs to suit everyone in our community including Learn to Swim lessons, Squads and Aqua Fitness classes.
We deliver Learn to Swim lessons for children, adults, persons with disability, groups and private lessons.
We provide Squad offerings for both fitness and competitive swimmers.
We run weekly Aqua Fit classes that keep all ages and fitness levels active and motivated.
An emphasis on providing affordable community focused aquatic programs to the community is the core business of the Lake Mac Swim Centre offering.
Keeping more persons, more active, more often is the purpose for all services.

Grounds Hire
We offer dedicated outdoor space for hire, suitable for small group personal training. Groups will have access to a designated outdoor space, well-lit grounds, toilets and showers onsite.
