Important Notice: Speers Point Swim Centre will have limited space available to the public between Friday 15 November and Sunday 17 November due to an aquatic event. The 50-metre pool will be unavailable for lap swimming at these times: Friday 15 November between 12pm and 7pm, Saturday 16 November - all day, Sunday 17 November - all day. The 25-metre pool, splash pad and shallow end of the 50-metre pool will remain accessible to the public. Due to existing pool programming on weekend mornings, there may also be limited lanes in the 25 metre pool. We apologise for any inconvenience.

 

 

Speers Point Swim Centre is operated by Lake Macquarie City Council. It is open during the summer season and is home to the Boolaroo-Speers Point Swimming.

Speers Point Swim Centre is a wonderful family swim destination. It is located in Speers Point Park and a short walk to many local facilities and attractions.

Programs and classes

 

Lake Mac Swim Centres deliver programs to suit everyone in our community including Learn to Swim lessons, Squads and Aqua Fitness classes.

We deliver Learn to Swim lessons for children, adults, persons with disability, groups and private lessons.

We provide Squad offerings for both fitness and competitive swimmers.

We run weekly Aqua Fit classes that keep all ages and fitness levels active and motivated. 

An emphasis on providing affordable community focused aquatic programs to the community is the core business of the Lake Mac Swim Centre offering.

Keeping more persons, more active, more often is the purpose for all services.

Grounds Hire

We offer dedicated outdoor space for hire, suitable for small group personal training. Groups will have access to a designated outdoor space, well-lit grounds, toilets and showers onsite.
