Our Charlestown Swim Centre facility has reopened to the public following it's recent closure for essential pool painting. While the 50m pool remains closed until late May 2024, the 25m pool is currently available for swimming. However, there is limited public access to the 25m pool from Monday to Friday between 4pm to 7pm due to programming requirements.
Some programs usually offered in the 50m pool have been temporarily relocated to our other swim centres, as well as to the available 25m pool.
Program Changes:
- Learn to swim: Lessons continue at Charlestown as scheduled. - Aqua, Squad and STOMP: All weekday morning sessions have been relocated to Speers Point or Swansea Swim Centres. Some changes to afternoon sessions. For detailed schedules, please refer to our timetables page.
The operating seasons at Speers Point and Swansea Swim Centres have been extended to accommodate the additional programs and participants from Charlestown.
